CNAs is a combination of the National Accreditation Committee of the original China certification body (CNAB) and the former China Laboratory National Accreditation Commission (CNAL). CNAs shall, through evaluation and supervision of the management and activities of the qualification assessment institutions (such as certification agencies, laboratories and inspection institutions), confirm whether they are capable of carrying out corresponding qualification assessment activities (such as certification, testing and calibration, inspection, etc.), confirm the authority of their qualification assessment activities and play the role of recognition and restriction.
